LIFE - "Violence, Peace and Peace Research"
The 2nd album released in 2013 by Tokyo Crust Core Punk LIFE, which represents Japan, will be released on CD for the first time from Malaysia Black Konflik Records! !! Limited to 400 sheets with obi. ex. ANTI-AUTHORIZE / LIFE since Mr. Futatsugi of the current GATES participated in the late 90's is very novel by adding a metal core element to the original Scandinavian style noisy stench crust slash. The deepening surprised the fans, but with the withdrawal of Mr. Futatsugi, the bassist Abe changed the part to a guitar, and it was reborn as a twin guitar organization with Mr. Taka, and even older hardcore fans. What surprised me was joining Nori as a bassist who has been active in many bands such as NUKEY PIKES. In this 2nd album, not only the Swedish Mangel crust type fierce runaway speed at the base, but also the metal core element planted by Mr. Futatsugi is firmly rooted, and the overwhelming lasing crust punk over the whole volume.・ It is no exaggeration to say that it embodies the process of deepening Japanese crust core, such as the anarcho-punk-flavored phrase of the CONFLICT system and the dynamism after 90's emo crust in the slash wave attack. It is finished in a masterpiece of. Contains 22 songs including re-recording of past songs and DISCLOSE cover. The jacket is an artwork by Mr. Nozaki of the current STAGNATION, ex. COLLAPSE SOCIETY. L.O.R.S.A - "Psycho A Go Go"

MOZAK / ROTTEN CHARLES MANSON - "Split"
MOZAK: Average and nothing exciting black/ death metal from Slovenia. I just needed something better that hooked me either with something unique or better production.
Rotten Charles Manson: A little better out of the two. More of the death/ black metal, but they do go faster at times. At those times, my attention is restored. -don (Steward). (Rm10+postage)
NARCOLAPTIC - "Hypocretin"
The band from Hamburg / St. Pauli presents their fifth release with “Hypocretin”. It's been seven years since their last album “More Than Noise” was released on Antikorper-Export, but in the meantime it was anything but quiet around the band. Around 200 concerts at home and abroad (including Indonesia were played, including with bands such as Itchy Poopzkid, ZSK, Supershirt, Alarmsignal, 3rd Choice and many more. Many projects were supported - many festivals rocked. Their music is still to be understood as a means to an end and so the band works closely with various projects, be it VIVA CON AQUA or NOT BOCK ON NAZIS. The band even shot the “VcA behind the festival scenes” film for VcA. On “Hypocretin” the band has further developed their Skate Punk without losing their roots. The driving drums from Marlon, who also drums with the Ska Punks from RANTANPLAN, create the foundation together with the bass - the guitar work does the rest - very elaborate and accurately used. Don's voice is unique and full of character - the choirs are used skilfully. There are also ska and offbeat excursions, but they expand the songs instead of being annoying. The artwork was taken from KasiaKohl.com. Mixed and mastered by Role in the Tonmeisterei Oldenburg (fine cream fish fillet, disco // Oslo etc.). (Rm10+postage)
NO HOLD BACK..."All attack!!! - Twin cities hardcore punk rock and roll"
One day some genius posts on an internet message board that the scene needs a new comp and before you know it there's a 54 band Triple LP/Double CD compilation of all local bands. This record covers all the bases from grindcore, to crust, to SE Metalcore to pop punk and more. Bands you've grown up listening to, bands you've never heard of, bands you'll never hear again. Over all pretty essential listening for anyone into what's going on in Midwestern punk and hardcore today. Standout tracks by Dillinger Four, Soviettes, Misery, Calloused and Holding On. This is only the second Triple LP punk comp I know of. (Dan Doh comp being the first). Available at a special low price because lots of bands played benefit shows to help put this out!(Rm10+postage)
NYX NEGATIV - "Kalrshamns Punks 1981-1984"
NYX NEGATIV was a Swedsh hardore punk band who were around from 1981–1986. This compilation starts off with some good chaotic hardcore punk, and then they progress to being a fast hardcore band that seems to get their influence from This Is Boston Not L.A. and early JERRY’S KIDS. At the end of this, they are playing slower and with more melody, and then we get a couple of live tracks as well. Most of this album is pure fast hardcore and it’s great. It really does have the same type of sound that the very earliest recorded JERRY’S KIDS had—fast as hell and sounding like it could fall apart any second, but all that does is make it sound more punk.(Rm20+postage)
OBSESIF KOMPULSIF / ELASTIC DEATH - "Thrash complex"
His album describe two groups of young peoples from different parts of the world, highly spirits to playing musical insanity. PACK / SOL - "Split"
"Holy Shit! This fucking split tears it up. PACK comes from Switzerland and play blazing fast d-beat hardcore with superb breakdowns with duel vocals with what sounds like a little distortion on them.
S.O.L. comes out of Germany playing a similar style as Pack but with a bit more a metal edge and it is fucking amazing.
Both of these bands sound tight as hell and with great recording quality and song writing. Think about how many bad hardcore bands you've heard come out of Germany and Switzerland because I haven't heard many. Highly recommended. (Chad)" (Profane Existence #46)

POGO MACHINE - "Punk Revelation"
The 2nd album of 9 songs from the POGO PUNK band "POGO MACHINE" has been released from POGO 77! !! The first song that starts with the roaring sound emitted from the muffler (FX or XJ ?, is the muffler BEAT or Moriwaki?) Of a 4-cylinder straight pipe set is the best! !! Of course, the end of the first song is a police car siren (laughs) Compared to the previous work, the wide musicality + POGO MACHINE's catchiness is alive and well! (Rm20+postage)

REFUSE - "Very Best Of Hero"
REFUSE was a noisy Japanese punk trio from the Fukushima prefecture, formed in the early ’00s and consisting of members from EFFECT and DISCOMFORT, to name a few. Their sound (or rather noise!) follows the same line as Kyusu punk bands like SWANKYS, GAI, and CONFUSE, who in turn were highly influenced by CHAOS U.K. and DISORDER. The guitars are a wall of noise, the only perceptive melodies come from the wonky bass, primitive yet effective drumming leads the way, and a distorted voice utters all kinds of profanities. Love it! Very Best of Hero is a compilation of tracks taken from all their releases, so essentially, this has their full body of work .I highly recommend the tracks from the Punk Save the World??? EP, which is a really fun, pogo-inducing noisy hardcore gem, complete with covers of GAI and the SWANKYS. For noise addicts!(Rm20+postage)
RIGOROUS INSTITUTION - "Cainsmarsh"
After three highly praised 7” eps, RIGOROUS INSTITUTION rises from the shadowy dripping streets of Portland, OR to deliver us their 1st full length album. Full of scathing vocals with smart, bleak lyrics (that border on poetry at times), axe grinding riffs, driving, dirty bass lines, hypnotic percussion, atmospheric synthesizer and a sense of droning paranoia scattered throughout its entirety. Yes, this is what one could call crust, but it feels too easy to use that word. These weirdos veer into seldom ventured territories that go from ripping to horrific soundscapes that make one’s skin crawl as much as their fists pump. Picture John Carpenter joining forces with AMEBIX in 1982 and it will give you an idea of what this epic CD will bring. This might just be the perfect soundtrack for the current state of the world. RUM REBELLION / HAMMERED GRUNTS - "Pick Yer Poison"
The world is still safe for spiky kids as long as the mighty Rodent Popsicle Records is still around. These two young Portland bands complement one another nicely. RUM REBELLION is a fast, Dropkick Murphys-inspired hardcore Irish folk punk band and HAMMERED GRUNTS play hardcore thrash. Each group covers a song of the other and also delivers five originals. It’s kind of surprising that there aren’t more bands like RUM REBELLION given the popularity of DKM and Flogging Molly, but it’s not a very easy style to pull off. RUM REBELLION manages to do it with as little cheese effect as possible. HAMMERED GRUNTS, likewise, stand out in that they have a very specifically late 1980s crossover hardcore feel that isn’t typically replicated these days. We’re talking time capsule material here. It’s hard to imagine Hammered Grunts booking shows on cell phones and the internet instead of via newsprint classifieds. –Art Ettinger (Rodent Popsicle). (Rm10+postage)
SEVERED HEAD OF STATE / SCUM NOISE
Live recording onto CD, no doubt about the quality of sound, the front cover artwork done by marald (doing tons great artwork for state of fear, wolfbrigade, assrash, destroy, profane existence zine, etc). SHOS delivered very energetic live recorded sound. The music is an onslaught of power that can be described as the inbred bastard of Detestation and His Hero Is Gone with a distorted beast on vocal duties /while SCUM NOISE is a really crazy brazilian thrash crust legend band, they also doing cover from driller killer and olho seco. SLUDGE - "S/t"
Japanese crust / metal-hardcore SLUDGE. This CD compiles all their tracks taken from Conduct LP, Demo, split EP and EP. As you may already know most of the famous japanese hardcore bands come from the bigger cities of japan like tokyo/osaka/nagoya but sometimes you can see there is a great band coming out from the countryside and this time SLUDGE is no exception. SLUDGE comes from kinan/wakayama southwest japan and it is always fascinating to see such an impressive band coming out from the rural and remote area. After several years of unknown activities the band released a demo cdr and sold it at only a few record shops which was the start of everything. Every person who happened to get the demo was blown away. Crust war had a chance to meet the members one day and asked if they wanted to release something and now this is the result. 20 tracks of total anarchic rawness and destructive mayhem played in traditional japanese metalcore punk style with a slightly crust and metal punk touch. Fans of GISM,ZOUO,later GHOUL, EFFIGY, DEMOLITION,TETSU- ARREY,G.A.T.E.S shouldn’t miss this! (Rm20+postage)

STRAIGHT TO HELL: ‘02-‘04 Discography
One shudders to imagine the plethora of slayed dragons and razed villages that must’ve fallen prey to this band in their short two-year existence. I’m getting that from the cover, which features an army of soldiers coming out of a large dragon-headed ship, being led by a guy with a He-Manesque breastplate and a dog’s head. It’s really no big shocker that Gloom released this: Straight To Hell’s playing straight-up thrash, with throat-rending vocals and the occasional screeching metal solo thrown in. The bad: I guess I really shouldn’t review thrash shit anymore; all of these bands just start to blend together after awhile. The good: Smart, scene-critical lyrics in a genre that almost always goes for the dumbass A-B-A-B rhyme scheme.–keith (Gloom) Razorcake. (Rm10+postage)

THE DISCOCKS - "Don't be fooled, don't be satisfied, don't be ruled, don't be denied"
THE DISCOCKS were a Pogo Punk/Oi! band formed in 1992 with Peter (Ohashi) and bass, Naka-chin on guitar and early D.S.B. drummer Hiroichi on drums. In 1992 the band released their first EP “Voice Of Youth” on their own New Age Records. In 1998 the band broke up and members Peter and Hiroichi went on to play in The Avoided, a band with a more ska oriented sound. After five years, DISCOCKS returned in 2003 with a new line-up and a new, more aggressive sound and with “The” dropped from their name. They recorded a three track reunion demo called “BSS Punk Sessions” with Mishima on drums and soon to be Extinct Government guitarist Hiroshi on Guitar. In 2005 the band released their first full length in almost ten years called “Don’t be Fooled…” on Nori (Tom And Boot Boys) own label Pogo77. After a Korean tour and various gigs around Tokyo the band recorded five new songs for a split release with Swedish punks “The Negatives” (The Bristles). The CD was released on MCR. The band continued to play until late 2007. Peter now plays in Reggae outfit 45RPM. Naka-Chin now plays in a 1980s punk tribute called “Punk & Disorderly” with Nori (Tom And Boot Boys), Kentaro (ERECTiONS) and Hidenori (Hat Trickers)(Rm20+postage)
THE RUSTLER - "1988-1994"
A CD version from previous LP released by FOAD Records with different artwork. Ultrafast, raging, powerful – three words to describe the overall feeling that we get approaching to any of the legendary names spawned by the Shizuoka HC scene. And with no doubt, The RUSTLER were one of the best representatives from there. Here you get their complete discography 1988-1994 consisting of their debut flexi disc, split 7″s with So What and Swindle Bitch, songs from “Shizuoka City Hardcore” and “Who’s chained up to the dogs of outrage!!” compilations and additional rare tracks never released on vinyl until now. 34 songs of uncompromised anger and speed, featuring Akiyama on drums (also in SWINDLE BITCH, ZAMZA, FORWARD and many more). This anthology shows the band’s progression from the early proto-blasting thrash assault of their s/t 10 song flexi disc, not far from the style of Deadless Muss (in their second phase) and early S.O.B. TIPPER'S GORE - "The first four months"
This is the bands original demo, recorded after the band had only been together for a few months. This is by no means a low-fi recording. Recorded in a studio and originally self-release, this recording brings to mind The Faith's early material or the SOA "No policy" EP but with a catchiness that makes each song memorable. (Rm10+postage)
TOBS N KRONI - "Years of Dysfunction"
Such a fun power pop/pop punk album. It runs the gamut of the rougher side of punk but also packs some great melodies in here. It's not a really an album, but more like a clumsy compilation of songs that the band just wants to put out. But you know, I can respect that. Still can't help but wonder the kind of thing they could pull off if they invested more time in the concept or the sequencing. Right now The covers of Beach Boys and Weezer on this thing aren't all that great, but you've got really memorable originals like Back To You (Tun MMM) (no prizes for which Malaysian Prime Minister it's about), You & Blue and Kita Jaga Kita. I think there was an intention to make the song arrangements more purposeful, like a proper concept LP, especially because the final track DYSFUNCTIONAL YEARS is such a good closer. Just a nostalgic acoustic summary for a band with potential. (Rm20+postage)
TOBS AND KRONI - "Band life is rubbish"
They are back guys.
This time is more solid and stable. Arrangement is more intense. Part-part attack is fresher and unpredictable but the best. Many interesting odd times in the arrangement of the song, arranged well and not disturbing the flow and mood of the song. Part 4/4 of the square formula is also successfully reduced.
It's more crazy, the vocals are easy to hook, the bass line is picked correctly, especially the snapping part, flowers and extensions are all delicious. Guitar works more open, downstroke is good and does not freeze. The drum stroke is neat, sharp and solid. Fortunately, Min did not fill the single stroke of the song Teguh.
This overall must be heard and spread
I don't even care about the genre or any shit. As long as it is delicious, intense and cunning.. Kite kasi on.
Favorite track: I hate my hair.
Congrats Tobs N Kroni Shahrizal Jasmi Namosaki. (Review by Tiong - Tott / Reconstruct) (Rm20+postage)

TOLIVE - "~Live~"
This band from Kyushu Island was already included on the Downright Vulgarities compilation (also released on Black Konflik Records) that I reviewed a couple of months ago, and unsurprisingly, the band delivers seven new tracks of the traditional ’80s Japanese sound. To be honest, if you told me that TOLIVE used to be active between 1984 and 1987 and that this was a reissue, I would definitely believe you, especially if you caught me at my most gullible. The singer sounds exactly like your typical ’80s Japanese hardcore singer (think GUDON or GISM, obviously), and this confers a delicious vintage feel to the recording, which I suppose is what the band goes for. Musically, this is classically executed Japanese hardcore with those triumphant riffs and characteristic high-energy backing choruses that you can shout along to with clenched fists. The production is quite raw and simple so that it almost has a stripped-down feel, which may not be intentional. In any case, I think TOLIVE would have benefited from a more energetic and refined sound. The cover looks absolutely beautiful, though. I am not the biggest fan of this brand of traditional mid/late ’80s Japanese hardcore, but I am convinced this would appeal to the nerds who are. (Rm20+postage)

VARIOUS - RATAS DE CIUDAD
A corker of a collection of Latino hardcore bands from Chicago’s Southside, including Eske, Jodido, Tras de Nada, Non Fiktion Nois, PKDores, Reacción, and I Attack, respectively. Most of what’s on here speeds by at a nice clip, is lyrically split evenly between English and Spanish, and all of it is top notch. Included in the liner notes is an explanation as to why so many Southside bands play hardcore punk, an answer that, as the product of East L.A.’s punk scene, I can attest is pretty universal. I hope the label makes this an annual “state of the scene” report of sorts for the Southside, with maybe an expansion in the number of bands represented, ‘cause, as Los Crudos illustrated some time ago, the scene in Chicago’s barrios was apparently quite vibrant, indeed, and apparently remains so.–jimmy (Southkore).

暴力装置 - "CORRUPTION OF THE LAWLESS VIOLENCE"
MILITARY SHADOW guitarist Tetsuya has released a 5-track 1st demo of a hardcore punk band violent device that also serves as a guitar and vocalist, and a CD version with a 400-sheet press from Malaysia Black Konflik Records. Many people may have missed the cassette version released earlier by the band's own production, so this is a nice timing CD. If you missed the cassette, please buy it this time, and if you like the cassette, please buy it! !! Whether it's a band of quality that holds expectations for the future, or vice versa, a band that looks like garbage that can't be helped, Mr. Tetsuya thoroughly checks the current overseas metal punk that goes through the same era with his own ears. From there, for example, like NAGASAKI SUNRISE in Portugal, I always think that I'm always sick of approaching a band that I thought "this is it !!", but this violent device is metal punk. There is no taste and I push it with a brutal Swedish hardcore style only that makes me feel a strong influence from ANTI CIMEX. Mr. Tetsuya also loves ABSOLUT in Canada, so there is also a metal punk element somewhere, is it that type? I thought before I heard that, but I strongly feel his challenge spirit even when I am consciously avoiding it. I think it's a masterpiece debut demo that seems to have struck out his feelings. A must-listen for MILITARY SHADOW fans, BAFOMET fans, BRANDED REBEL fans, and punk fans looking for ferocious crust hardcore! !! (Record boy shop). (Rm20+postage)
