ACUTE
For Peace 1986-1992
Following SHOT GUN, FUP, and ZHENYUAN, Black Konflik Records in Malaysia has released another Hokkaido hardcore punk obscure excavation reissue! !! The only work left during the activity was a hardcore punk band from Sapporo called "Nothing Action, Nothing Have", which was produced in 1989 by SLANG, SATANIC HELL SLAUGHTER, FUP and this ACUTE 4 band. This is a discography CD. The 4 Way Split sound source and all 23 songs of studio rehearsal & live are included. Comes with a band and a sticker. I didn't know it at all until I heard the release information of this CD, so the liner notes in the booklet and the flyer at that time are very helpful, but the anti-war that did not exist much in the Showa local city hardcore punk It is a political band that has been seriously appealing, and members / musicians of important bands in the Sapporo punk scene such as SLANG, Dohatsuten, EASTERN YOUTH, SPITFIRE, SATANIC HELL SLAUGHTER (& 324), BLOODTHIRSTY BUTCHERS have also participated with support. That's right, it can be seen that it was a political punk group that was not based on the principle or image-first type, but was also active in the musical model of overseas punk. In fact, the intro of ANTI-SYSTEM is used for SE (there is also a song that seems to be a Japanese cover), and as a Japanese hardcore punk at that time, it is a rare type that does not have a so-called Japanese core feeling. For a long time, Sapporo punk had an image that there was almost no atmosphere of "I want to do punk like a Tokyo band!", And there were many types of bands, but there was such a political band. I'm surprised. Old Japanese hardcore punk fans should take this opportunity to check it out!! (Record boy shop)

AFFECT
This is Varmland Noise
This is kängpunk at its finest: Affect come from Varmland County, Sweden featuring member of E.A.T.E.R, Våldsamt motstånd, Fördärvad, A.R.S.E.L and Destruktiv. Total 14 tracks mini discography with Disclose worship in a total distort brutal Hardcore mangel. Well, you got that right, AFFECT. I first played this tape well into the evening, after a few park sodas, and said to myself “maybe I’ll listen to this again over the weekend, and it won’t sound so much like DISCLOSE.” AFFECT are a Swedish band, and if you love DISCLOSE and GLORIOUS?, this is a perfect addition to your Dis-collection. Dis is absolut raw chaos punk noize for reality fucker. And the best part: it’s done by two people, yet sounding like a catastrophic cacophony of several more. The percussion is a bit heavier than is standard, as is the galloping stomper track—my favorite—”Bleeding.” The words are lengthy and well-paced, nicely understated, throughout the tracks, and my only complaint is that I’d love to have some printed lyrics. The tan-on-black cover art is also excellent. AFFECT goes from “eh” to “hmm, well, OK!” with each subsequent listen. - Maximum RocknRoll #448 , September 2020.

ANGKARA
Dogma
In the first album titled "Dogma" which was released as a result of the collaboration of 4 labels, all that has been overcome very well, in fact the improvement is clearly bigger and massive. The original Hardcore / Crust Punk d-beat unit from Kulim, Kedah is back in style and "Dogma" is really powerful and full of energy. The CD features 10 songs as well as the addition of an intro making the total duration 22:11 minutes. The recording sessions as well as the mixing and mastering process were done at Warehouz Studio from April 2015 to January 2016. Their music, their lyrics, their singing-all merged like an expression of anger that erupted and overflowed. Listening to the series of songs in this album, you can feel the fierce and violent expressions and cries of Angkara, along with the aggressive nature of the rhythmic nature of hardcore punk music that they perform. Angkara in this album is lined up by Matt Rizal (vocals/ guitar), Aziman Azmi (drums/ background vocals) and the inclusion of Pahrol Razi (bass/background vocals) who was not previously involved in Demo 2014. "Dogma" comes in an interesting package , a 7 "x 7" slipcase (like a 7 "EP vinyl cover). ANGKARA has already proven their potential and without a doubt“ Dogma ”is a fully recommended must-have.
BAFOMET / DEVIL'S POISON
Drinking Blood Live Raw split CD
A split live recording between Tokyo and Chile Blacked /Thrash Metal punk. This CD contains 10 tracks that are recorded from each band's live show, which BAFOMET recorded at 'Gate and Barricade Ver. 2.1" show along with BLAZE and TECHNOCRACY as headliners, and DEVIL'S POISON recorded at Suicide Records fest 1 in April 31th 2022. As the band mentioned HAIL LEGION EJECUTOR! METAL VENENOSO and PRAISE THE GOAT, here the drinking blood live raw split CD.
BAFOMET : This is real Heavy Metal extremity. Taking the ways of old and the virtues of Black and Thrash Metal in their stride, Bafomet unleash chaotic fire in less than 30 minutes of truly killer material. Old school bangers and maniacs will adore this, and if you do not; F.O.A.D.I.F.
DEVIL'S POISON : Devil’s Poison was formed in Coyhaique (Chile) at the end of 2015. A few months later they self-released “Satan Metal” , the first single charged with poisonous metal. The new álbum is a complete dose of savage blackened speed metal. Recommended for fans of Venom, Salyer, Discharge, Bathory, Black Uniforms, GISM, and many more. This new álbum will blow your head off!
BODYRAG
S/t CD
Following the caustic promise of their previous EP, Malaysia’s Body Rag finally unleash their debut album consist of 11 tracks and it’s a bruiser from start to finish. What the band carved out on their previous EP has been expanded here into a dense, suffocating wall of grinding death-hardcore, pushing towards sonic extremity in the realms of pure punishment of electronic noise-infused.
The murky basslines provide a subterranean foundation, pulsing like sludge beneath collapsing riffs. Meanwhile, the guitars churn with sludgy, grinding ferocity, creating an oppressive density that feels more like a physical force than just sound. The vocals, buried but vicious, claw their way through the mix, echoing with the raw immediacy.
What sets Body Rag apart is their deliberate embrace of noise aesthetics. Rather than polishing the edges, they amplify the abrasiveness in fine measure , reveling in between distortion, feedback, and sonic decay. This approach creates an atmosphere that feels both chaotic and meticulously crafted – a deliberate plunge into ugliness that becomes strangely hypnotic.
Fans of sludge, grind, and noise-infused hardcore will find familiar touchpoints here.
There’s a rawness to their sound that feels directly tied to the underground ethos: uncompromising, unrelenting, and unwilling to cater to easy listening.
The debut doesn’t just mark a new chapter for Body Rag – it feels like a statement of intent, a declaration that their particular brand of sonic demolition is here to stay.
If their previous EP hinted at destruction, this album delivers it in full. A grinding, sludgy, noise-drenched assault, Body Rag’s debut is as ugly as it is compelling – which perfectly portrayed in the cover artwork by Rotting Reign.
BONDAGE
Al Fin, El Demo + Live
*This CD version includes tracks from Demo and Live taken. Chilean punk bands like Ignorantes, Inyeccion, and Alambre De Puas have been getting some attention recently, and rightly so for playing filthy, raw, noisy, tupa-tupa hardcore punk. Bondage is a relatively new band from Chile that takes the tupa-tupa sounds of contemporary Chilean punk and mixes in a healthy dose of 80’s Kyushu Noise! Think GAI and GESS meets IGNORANTES. A headache-inducing blast of total noise punk. PUNK IS NERDS//PUNK IS SILLY//PUNK IS LOVE//PUNK IS NOISE!!
CONFRONT

Review by: Britton Dicks
I usually only try and review physical copies of albums because I like to talk about not just music, but the album’s lyrics, artwork, layout, etc. as well, but I heard a snippet of the Japanese band Confront’s new album “Guilty Or Not Guilty” and liked it so much I decided to review the Bandcamp version of the album. This album is from beginning to end mostly a fast, furious attack of hardcore punk aggression! To me it resembles early to mid-80’s U.S. style punk when all of the bands were trying to be faster than the next band. That said, it has a sense of melody I love and even some great guitar solos and leads. It‘s like a mix of Minor Threat and the hardcore D.R.I. albums, but with a better production. When the music slows it sounds a bit like a faster and heavier Husker Du and it even gets a bit thrashy at times! The vocalist has a very true old school hardcore delivery, but he actually sings here and there as well. It’s all very anthemic and makes me want to get up and slam dance through a wall or two. I fucking love it! Like I stated earlier, I am reviewing the Bandcamp version of the album, so I can’t comment on what the lyrics are about, but a gander at the song titles should clue you in as to what they are about. The cover art shows a blindfolded girl kneeling in a room that has vines or some evil shit winding their way into the room. This was a breath of fresh air for me. I have always loved punk and hardcore almost as much as I love heavy metal. If you like your punk fast as hell and easy to sing along with, you’d do well to add “Guilty Or Not Guilty?” to your collection.
CORVUS
Left it too late
From Malaysia BLACK KONFLIK, the 2007 recording of CORVUS, a doom metal project by Pete Nash (ANTI GOTHIC LEAGUE, ENT, Filthkick, DOOM etc) and Bri DOOM (DOOM, SORE THROAT etc), is on for the first time! It is a paper sleeve specification that is rare in BLACK KONFLIK. The song was produced by Pete Nash, and Bri DOOM was in charge of the drum part and recording. It seems that he was thinking about activities as a band if there was a good reaction to make a demo, but since Pete lives in a remote place, he could not find friends to play with around him, and eventually he settled down in this form. That thing. And so far, it seems that more than 8 demos have been quietly produced. A song inspired by ELECTRIC WIZARD and produced by picking up a guitar for the first time in more than 10 years. Includes all 5 eco-doom metal songs that incorporate a natural theme into the feel of old doom metal bands such as BLACK SABBATH, AMEBIX, and MOTORHEAD.

DEATH TO ALL POLITICIANS / PISSDEADS - Welcome to the human race
DEATH TO ALL POLITICIAN or you guys can call it DxTxAxP is a new 2-piece noisecore band from S.A City, Malaysia; consists of Bastard Son (drum/vox) and Drunkard (guitar/vox). This is still fresh, Old School Noisecore like SEVEN MINUTES OF NAUSEA (7MON), ARSEDESTROYER, DECHE-CHARGE, YES MEANS YES, PISSDEADS, DEATHWANT and other short, fast & noisy noisecore bands! Remember, do not trust the politician, and hate the politics!
PISSDEADS is a one-man band from Russia who's been grinding out his own brand of sloppy noisecore/grind for a good few years now. This side is sloppy blurr/grind with ultra-harsh distorted vocals and vicious high-end from the drums. DEATHWANT are a side-project of superb grinders SUFFERINFUCK and this is their first appearance on vinyl after a raft of tapes on various labels. Very, very harsh sound going on here: the recording is pushed so far into the red instruments are barely discernable and the screaming vocals cut right through everything. There are some fuckin great riffs going on here though, and this definitely skirts with a more traditional grind sound more often than the ultra-short blasts of many other bands of the genre. Brilliant stuff! My only complaint is there's no songs titles, cos they're usually class!

DEATH TRAP FROM HELL - BATTLESCARD / ABSOLUT / OSMANTIKOS
5 songs from each band of ABSOLUT who seems to have been enrolled with OSMANTIKOS of Malaysia scheduled to come to Japan in May, BATTLESCARD of Yokohama scheduled to come to Japan at Koiwa BUSH BASH, and ZEX of Canada who just went on a Southeast Asian tour. The international 3WAY split work with the song has been released jointly by BULLWHIP, the member of OSMANTIKOS, and 4 other Malaysian labels! Although it is hardcore mainly for all bands D-BEAT, it is a good content that you can get a bird's-eye view of a part of the modern scene where you can enjoy the style of three parties!

DECOMP
Condemned to Earth
Debut full length from the long standing PDX unit, DECOMP. Bitter, Angry and Aggressive in every sense. Following a couple ep’s and a few line up changes, this LP gives you a vulgar display of tightness and brutality performed by a band in their prime. Condemned to Earth finds them crossing that line into metal even further than before (complete with sick guitar leads) but still a chalk load of stench here to keep the crusties drunkenly bobbing their heads. There are plenty of nods to the usual suspects (ie SACRILEGE, BOLT THROWER, et al) with hardcore punk hooks bringing to mind FRAMTID, ENT and the like. The result is an uncomfortable soundscape of chugging riffs, breakdowns, plenty of tempo changes, with a thick layer of guttural, spiteful vocals. There are only so many times you can get away with using the word “brutal” to describe certain records, but this one is BRUTAL in every sense of the word. End of times crust for the filthy black waxed jacket punks and flowing locked heshers alike.

DEPRESS
Discography
I couldn’t find much information on this band, either in English or Spanish. I know they’re a ’90s band from Malaysia and this is their entire output remastered for our enjoyment, all released originally by Broken Noise Records. The first half is songs from a split with Indonesia’s ANTIPATHY, and the second half were part of the Johor Hardcore comp. The twelve tracks are a blast, unhinged and blistering hardcore with some cool melodic and street-punk-like vocal hooks. Great song arrangements, furious vocals when needed, and a clear socio-political stance against authoritarianism and war. Would love to hear more from DEPRESS, hope there’s some more tracks in some vaults out there. (Maximum rock and roll).
DESTRUCT
Echoes Of Life + Extra Tracks
Destruct delivers an absolute crusher of a debut LP following a couple recent, well-regarded demos. This CD contains 24 tracks from the Echoes Of Life LP, Promo Cassette and Human Failure Cassette. The sound is one that you know and are familiar with; Stoke-on-Trent, Scandanavia, and Japan, but it has been executed to its absolute maximum and captured with a clear and powerful recording. Huge, catchy riffs. Exacting rhythm. If you’re a fan of classic Japanese and Swedish hardcore you’ll love this, but more than an eloquent bit of paraphrase, Echoes of Life proves in how powerful hardcore can be in the here and now. Recommended!

DESTRUCTION
Discography 1998-2011
This collection contains the entire output of Japanese anarcho-crust band DESTRUCTION from Ibaraki. Aside from their name, they also carry a very strong peace punk sound, while being a crustcore calamity at times. Loose and pulverizing. Reminds me of AXIOM, with some melodies of PAINTBOX or BASTARD…it’s like A.P.P.L.E. meets INITIAL STATE. There are upbeat grooves that collapse into grinding, blasting rage, like E.N.S. or LUDICRA with intros by LIBERTY. DESTRUCTION members have gone on to form bands such as UNARM and ATARAXIA. This is definitely worth your attention these days; very unique, passionate, raw, and powerful punk about war, children in war, the working class struggle, and the constant oppression from a controlling class.
DISTURD
From The Darkside
Nine tracks of devastating Japanese crust. Don’t let the name fool you, this band is not a by the numbers d-beat band. Musically they draw influence from Out From the Void-era Antisect and S.D.S with aggressive, tight and hard riffs that come at you fast. No frills in your face metallic hardcore and still very punk! This is one of the more impressive current Japanese bands going. This CD contains a track from studio and live at Socore Factory Osaka 25th September 2021.Listen :
DÖRAID
The Savage Years 2011- 2012 (Discography Archives Vol.4 )
This one’s interesting and filled with raw energy. Obscure and grindy Tokyo metalpunk that flirts with thrash stances, and with some surprisingly powerful vocal work. Crunchy mayhem that sometimes ends in a strident guitar solo from another era that seems to be willing to rip you apart; the riffage here is on-point. This CD summarizes some of their previous releases from 2011–2012. Recommended for obscure Japanese metalpunk addicts and idolizers, get ready to have your ears buzzing after this one.

DSM-5 / 暴力装置
The Future Means Murder Split CD
When the Swedish D-Beat met the Japanese D-Beat Raw punk here the split came out! DSM-5 / 暴力装置 - The Future Means Murder split proper D-beat delivered like it used to be as influenced by almighty DISCHARGE and DISCLOSE. DSM-5 recently just released an album from Cimex Records owned by Charlie (ANTI CIMEX) while 暴力装置 put out CDEP last year 2022. This CD included 12 new recording tracks with cover songs from DISCARD, that showed a blatant display of in-your-face, ugly and menacing hardcore buzzed with distortion. And both just when the constant cannonade of distorted guitars, aggresive vocals and pounding d-beats rawpunk as fuck.
DTR (DEATH TO THE REGIME)
Kungens Barn
DTR (or DEATH TO THE REGIME) was a band from Linköping, Sweden that was active from 1983 to 1985. Here we are dealing with a compilation of the full catalog of this short-lived band: tracks one through nine were recorded in 1985 at Bosse Sound, tracks ten through nineteen are from the compact cassette Rise Another World, and the final two tracks are demos recorded in 1984. They played fast and thrashy hardcore punk, but retained a Swedish musical sensibility with great melody. It’s not crossover, but it sure is close to that!
DUCKHEAD
Always Late
This band of three brothers from Sepang, Selangor is said to have taken some time before being ready to appear more mature and perfect through the EP "Always Late" which was released in mid-January 2018. The CD contains six songs with a total duration of 18:23 minutes; 4 songs in English and 2 Malay songs where one of them is a tribute 'Aduh Sayang', a classic song originally sung by the great artist P.Ramlee. In terms of music, Duckhead presents Punk Rock that is so entertaining, good to listen to and of course rock your body. They put together catchy and lively riffs and 'relaxed' parts well to create an interesting flow in each song. It is also rich in beautiful melodic compositions, strengthened by the impact and solid impact of the drum beat. Duckhead consisting of Idris Rabi (drums), Talhah Rabi (guitar/vocals) and Zaid Rabi (bass/vocals) get faster, louder and quite hard in the last two songs in this EP. Get the "Always Late" EP, it's worth it if you want good local Punk Rock that's solid in terms of music quality and sound production.
DUMDUMTAK
DinodaCD + Free poster
Dum Dum Tak's 2019 release, their 4th in 11 years. This political-bashing / racism criticizing trio still bearing their signature melodic and fast pace punk rock protest with couple of new tracks plus few tracks taken from the split with ALWAYS LAST and Sedekad cassette into Dinoda.
F.U.P
Complete Distort 1988-1991 (Double disc)
Sapporo City Hardcore ' F.U.P, this double CD complete track from 1988 until 1991. All tracks taken from their previous Demo, V/A compilation, Live, Rehearsal and Unreleased tracks. Same city with the legendary NAPALM and TRANQUILIZER that are more earlier in existence, F.U.P is the new wave era of the late 80's Sapporo city Hardcore band along with ACUTE, SLANG etc. Their sound is unusual for the late '80s/early 90s when they were active, very primitive and dark with a DISCHARGE-derived backbone, crude with distorted sounds and aggressive growled vocals similar to 80's Japanese Hardcore style 'Masami or Cherry. This CD comes with a 20 page booklet full of photo and gig flyers during their days. As compared to the band, the songs that are included in this CD are all completely original from the recording without mastering, unreleased recording, and different sounds from other F.U.P released before. The CD booklet artwork was participated by all the band members and it really looks like a classic artwork of 80's Japanese Hardcore style. Sapporo City Hardcore! Noise and Chaos!.
G-10
1986-1993
Japanese 80's Hardcore all the way from Chiba - G-10! This CD collection includes all their tracks from 1986 to 1993, 27 tracks of dark and delinquent hardcore not too far from the traditional style at the time. One of the important bands from the Chiba Hardcore city scene. A must have for Japanese HC fans!
Chiba Hardcore warriors!! A collection of incredible rarities tracing the history of G-10 from their origins in 1986 to 1993. All of their demos, compilation tracks, and a large selection of previously unreleased recordings exhumed by the band, so mysterious that for several tracks no one has been able to trace the song titles, assuming they were ever titled.. 27 TRACKS, all obviously never released on vinyl to date. Along with bands such as Kyojinbyo, Soltic, Scum Blast, Beni Tsubaki, Gestapo, and a few others, G-10 were among the most significant exponents of the Chiba hardcore scene in the late 80s and early 90s. Their style is dark and violent hardcore with raspy vocals, in pure Japanese tradition. LP with OBI strip, bonus 7" with extra unreleased studio recordings. (F.O.A.D Records)
GIVE AND TAKE
VOL 2
Give & Take vol.2 is out now. It all started when Zahid (of The Elm Kids fame) offered us to make a compilation and record all songs at his studio Lifeboat Studio in Sri Kembangan Selangor. We told the bands around our circle to go and record a song at the studio. Some more bands that played at the Punk Rock Freakers show in November 2018 were invited.
The first band that recorded their song was The Needles which was in December 2018 and the last band was Toxictoy. Most of the bands also appeared in the Give & Take compilation vol. 1 released in 2012 which are TIM, Dum Dum Tak, Skunkfix, The Needles and Toxictoy. GUWF! Is a new band consisting of Tobek (Always Last), Munet (Stick No Bill), Napi (The Korok), Arip (Never Found) and also Solih (Brayok). They play powerpop like Weezer and Pup. Parklane made up of Jim and Saiful (Bugstar) which originated from Batu Gajah Perak. Absolute Paradox consists of two members from Tadpoles with the help of Akmal from TIM. Multiverse G.D. is a new band formed by Emy and Min from Skunkfix and also Shah from The Mindless Show. Nywa is Zahid's new band.
Other bands that made the compilation complete are quite big names in the local scene; The Fridays, In A Sense, Priceless Stupid Box (from Pasir Gudang Johor) and Trophy Knives (which recently launched their new album ‘Glass Ceiling’).
The Needles announced that the song they contributed ‘Bulan Ke Riba’ is gonna be their last song they record together. So to their fans and supporter. Do get this CD

HELLSHOCK
XXV
PDX Stenchcore / Metal crust titan is back with a new mini album 'XXV' containing 6 new recordings in February 2025 featuring Todd Burdette from TRAGEDY on second guitar. Full-on old school death metal and, apart from the odd crust overtone, excellent solos, dark growly vocals and crunchy rhythmic riffing this album evokes the best sounds of bands like HELLBASTARD, AXEGRINDER and DEVIATED INSTINCT.
H,K,
Now Is The Time To Change The Earth (1989-2024 Best of H,K,)
H,K, was founded by KILI in 1989 after the break up of DEADLESS MUSS, one of the most important and the first Shizuoka Hardcore bands also featuring member of EVIL DEAD, THE RUSTLER and SWINDLE BITCH. JANKY
Live at Yokosuke 1987
The prolific label Black Konflik from Malaysia is at it again, this time with a new release of obscure Japanese hardcore from the ’80s, namely a live recording (presumably from 1987) of JANKY from Yokohama. The band is something of a minor classic for Japanese punk nerds (also known as “the hardcore nerd elite” in the scene), what with having an extremely rare, and actually very good, flexi released in 1984 on Hold Up Records, crucial criteria in the making of a true hardcore classic that no one really knows. Musically, the band epitomized the early raw energy, speed, and intensity that characterized the genre and made it so popular in the mid-’80s through bands like GAUZE, KURO, and many others. Still, this live recording is tough to listen to and I haven’t been able to sit through it. Radical devout fans might be able to, and I am sure they already grabbed it, but I am not one of them and it just sounds really rough.
JUNTESS
Black Days 1988-1992
This is a CD version for “Black days 1988-1992: complete singles, demo and live collection“. Combining the best elements of classic Japanese Hardcore with a scorching Metal-infused guitar work as well as a solid rocking vibe, JUNTESS stands as one of the most underrated bands of the late ’80s to early ’90s wave of Tokyo HC. This ultra exhaustive anthology finally makes justice to the quality and originality of their music, collecting all their existing recordings: singles, compilation tracks, the rare “not for sale” demo 1989 and a very complete selection of live material. A maniacal collection that reconstructs their history from the very first days to the final show: 1988 to 1992. (Rm20+postage)
J.U.U.M / DEATH RATTLE
Dance with extreme fear
SPLIT CD from BLACK KONFLIK with 6 songs by Nagoya Political Crusty Hardcore Group J.U.U.M (collectively Japan Underground Unholy Method) and Hyogo Prefecture Himeji Tribal Crusty Hardcore Group, DEATH RATTLE! !! The veteran group J.U.U.M is already 80s UK ANARCHO PUNK & CRUST ~ '90s U.S. CRUST ~ All 3 songs under the influence of Japan HC! Isn't DEATH RATTLE, which should be quite a veteran, the first release work following the demo CDR? ?? Teaser's extremely noisy TOTAL CRUST sound is super astringent, but the members are also in charge of djembe, and a unique group that also has tribal elements!
KERENANEKO / ARCHAGATHUS Mince to death
ARCHAGATHUS continue blasting after their last split with unholy grave. This time more heavier grindcore with 6 person inside. They are from the Canada. While KERENANEKO is Malaysia grindcore trio comparable to band like phobia, denak, rot, and old school grindcore sound. Their recording quality superb. And this band getting stronger than before. The front cover done by Yusth attack, and also a drummer of KERENANEKO. 8 pages booklet cover with full color cover.
KLONNS / SOILED HATE
Different Senses
KLONNS is a new work without a break from "HUSK" which was digitally released in August 2021. While being burned by the evil of 80s JAPANESE HARDCORE, it has a BRUTAL and FLOOR KILL finish with an expanded interpretation of the side as DANCE MUSIC of HARDCORE PUNK. SOILED HATE, on the other hand, is a regular sound source following the LP "The Nine Billion Names of Hate" scheduled to be released from Germany . Based on 90s US POWER VIOLENCE, NYHC, DEATH METAL, and finally NU METAL ... greedily absorb all kinds of VIOLENT MUSIC. With a new generation of sense and sense of balance, it gives off the purity and toughness of the 20's POWER VIOLENCE without falling into an easy MIXTURE. Also included is CYBER PUNK COVER, where Zaiden swings tact and sailor Kannako, Golpe Mortal, and 1797071 scream. The exchange of mysterious radio waves and roars erodes the rigid hearing. KLONNS is a sound image that seems to have left the core part of the band in the works so far, and contemporary develops 80's Japanese hardcore punk, worldwide hardcore influenced by it, and sensual rhythm. SOILED HATE, which is scheduled to be released from RSR in Germany, is trampled by the fierce hardcore of POWER VIOLENCE, which has both destructive power and instantaneous power with twin vocals. As the title suggests, this is a THIS IS DISCIPLINE that is established at DIFFERENT SENSES.

MOB 47
Tills Du Dör

The undisputed kings of mangel are back with what, believe it or not, is their first ever proper 12" LP in the form of "TILLS DU DÖR" - featuring 16 brand new tracks of GARANTERAT MANGEL!!!! Despite the more than four decades that have passed since the release of the band's all time cult classic "Kärnvapen Attack" EP, founding members Åke and Chrille (along with more recent member Christoffer on bass) clearly remain dedicated to the discipline of creating and executing top notch hardcore punk. And it's worth noting this isn't something reserved solely for the studio seeing that the band is still performing all over the world as well with recent dates in the USA and Colombia. Mob 47 is the epitome of a lifer band.

This LP will take you on an incredible journey into the raw sound of the band’s origins (1983-1984) when they were delivering aggressive, fuzzy hardcore with a solid street punk backbone and were part of Fukuoka’s wild leather & spikes gangs.. performing at legendary events such as “Control Gigs” and everything related to the beginnings of the “Violent Party” DIY label, which also featured them on the classic “Down Town Street Punker” compilation. 20 songs of seminal Japanese hardcore punk! NO SECURITY
Alai Was A Rebel
NO SECURITY KL street punk with no sign to get rest. In 2016 their debut EP cassette called DRUNK & DESTROY released by Pogo Tape Recs (Mal) was a mark for the existence of the UK82 Bristol punk style. “2020 years of Misery” released in the midst of covid-19 with 13 tracks blew our mind on the hard and fast beat in the mix of Exploited, GBH, Varukers. They keep going on surviving wild in spiky mohawk, studded jackets and boots on. The continuous from the 90’s Malaysian punk that is reminiscent of Piccadilly era. Upbringing the Pyrate Punx rebellious towards corrupted system, injustice governance and social change. Stomped and Charged punks alive!! Viva la Punk Forever!!
NYX NEGATIV
Kalrshamns Punks 1981-1984
NYX NEGATIV was a Swedsh hardore punk band who were around from 1981–1986. This compilation starts off with some good chaotic hardcore punk, and then they progress to being a fast hardcore band that seems to get their influence from This Is Boston Not L.A. and early JERRY’S KIDS. At the end of this, they are playing slower and with more melody, and then we get a couple of live tracks as well. Most of this album is pure fast hardcore and it’s great. It really does have the same type of sound that the very earliest recorded JERRY’S KIDS had—fast as hell and sounding like it could fall apart any second, but all that does is make it sound more punk.
ORAL
Dystopisk Framtid
A compilation of demos by the Swedish obscure hardcore band ORAL, formerly Alf Svensson of GROTESQUE and AT THE GATES, this CD includes demos from 1987-1989/bonus tracks from 1986. Oral started in 1994 inspired by the British punk scene by bands such as DISCHARGE, CONFLICT, CRASS and more. The band was very underrated, pretty unknown even to many Swedes and rarely. This recording evolved as a band in 86-87 Swedish hardcore was starting to flirt with Death Metal and Crossover.
Raging Swedish hardcore obscurity! Complete demos 1987-1989 + bonus tracks 1986. Raw, full throttle hardcore mangel in pure Scandinavian tradition, recommended if you like ANTI CIMEX, TOTALITÄR, CRUDE SS, AVSKUM…. Creating a hard-hitting atmosphere made of instantly catchy riffs, pounding drums with the unmistakable Swedish HC-beat formula and anger filled vocals reminding Tomas Jonsson at his finest. Featuring Alf Svensson (later in GROTESQUE and AT THE GATES)! Includes booklet with lyrics, photos from the time, liner notes written by the band and an old interview. ( F.O.A.D Records)
偏執症者 (PARANOID)
Cursed CD ( Plus 2 bonus Tracks from TATARI EP)
Cursed we were from the beginning, now is and forever shall be. Chaos without end. The name which will be a thousand times cursed in eternity. Our fourth album offers 10 more tracks of our trademark metallic punk. While the sound is as powerful as ever, Cursed is our darkest and most melodic release as well. This CD release contains 2 bonus tracks from the TATARI 7" EP.
Recorded in Studio Mangel, April-May 2021. Produced and engineered by Jocke D-takt. The drums were recorded in March at Studio 306, engineered by Johan Arveli. Mixed and mastered at Communichaos Media Clay Station by Kenko. On "狼狽の壁 (Roubai no Kabe)" voice by Bloody Kev. Recorded by Jamie Forth at his house. New Cross, London. Electronic sound design by Christian Augustin.
"If you know 偏執症者 (Paranoid), you might already have some expectations of what ”Cursed” might sound like – and you will not be disappointed. 偏執症者 Paranoid are not considering about taking prisoners as their brachial mix of D-Beat and Thrash Metal Punk rages like a horde of berserkers. Altogether, a beautiful powerload. Music for the fast lane, for deconstruction and for a flaming moshpit"

PRIVATE JESUS DETECTOR
Nobody's Master Nobody's Servant
PRIVATE JESUS DETECTOR, who emerged from Belgium in the early 90’s and had a tremendous impact on Japanese hardcore and crustcore, reunited and released a long-awaited full-length album in 2022. About half of the songs were written before the dissolution in the 90’s, and are a masterpiece LP recorded with a twin vocal system composed mostly of the original members. D-BEAT CRUST HARDCORE EXPLOSION FULL OF ANGER REMINISCENT OF SCANDI D-BEAT!! Angry roar by twin vocals in a tense sound! !! A powerful work that does not make you feel blank! !! Crustties ~ D-BEAT CRUST, a must-listen for raw hardcore punk fans! This CD version includes 16 tracks with bonus features Rehearsal demo and 2 video clips ( Enhanced CD).
REFUSE
Very Best Of Hero
REFUSE was a noisy Japanese punk trio from the Fukushima prefecture, formed in the early ’00s and consisting of members from EFFECT and DISCOMFORT, to name a few. Their sound (or rather noise!) follows the same line as Kyusu punk bands like SWANKYS, GAI, and CONFUSE, who in turn were highly influenced by CHAOS U.K. and DISORDER. The guitars are a wall of noise, the only perceptive melodies come from the wonky bass, primitive yet effective drumming leads the way, and a distorted voice utters all kinds of profanities. Love it! Very Best of Hero is a compilation of tracks taken from all their releases, so essentially, this has their full body of work .I highly recommend the tracks from the Punk Save the World??? EP, which is a really fun, pogo-inducing noisy hardcore gem, complete with covers of GAI and the SWANKYS. For noise addicts
RIGOROUS INSTITUTION Cainsmarsh
After three highly praised 7” eps, RIGOROUS INSTITUTION rises from the shadowy dripping streets of Portland, OR to deliver us their 1st full length album. Full of scathing vocals with smart, bleak lyrics (that border on poetry at times), axe grinding riffs, driving, dirty bass lines, hypnotic percussion, atmospheric synthesizer and a sense of droning paranoia scattered throughout its entirety. Yes, this is what one could call crust, but it feels too easy to use that word. These weirdos veer into seldom ventured territories that go from ripping to horrific soundscapes that make one’s skin crawl as much as their fists pump. Picture John Carpenter joining forces with AMEBIX in 1982 and it will give you an idea of what this epic CD will bring. This might just be the perfect soundtrack for the current state of the world.
RIPPER
Wasteland
Recorded in 2012, finally this banger gets the proper release it deserves! In the early 2010’s RIPPER ruled the Portland punk, metal, hardcore scene releasing one epic LP followed by an equally destructive 7”. This record finds the band in the height of their prime before they spontaneously combusted. The rock n’ roll riffage, double bass drum, driving bass guitar holding it down, the Lemmy-esque/INEPSY-esque vocals, and of course the well executed guitar solos are all played like their lives depend on it. Like an out of control train about to go off the rails, this record is full of hair-raising tempos demanding a head bang whether you want to or not. Obviously for fans of MOTORHEAD, but unlike many bands of this style there is no hint of being contrived or cheesy. Rock n’ roll poured through these three maniacs’ blood (and it still does with the many projects they all went onto in the 10 years since). While it’s sad that this may be the last thing we ever hear from RIPPER, this is one hell of a swan song and well worth the 10 year wait.

SLUDGE
S/t
Japanese crust / metal-hardcore SLUDGE. This CD compiles all their tracks taken from Conduct LP, Demo, split EP and EP. As you may already know most of the famous japanese hardcore bands come from the bigger cities of japan like tokyo/osaka/nagoya but sometimes you can see there is a great band coming out from the countryside and this time SLUDGE is no exception. SLUDGE comes from kinan/wakayama southwest japan and it is always fascinating to see such an impressive band coming out from the rural and remote area. After several years of unknown activities the band released a demo cdr and sold it at only a few record shops which was the start of everything. Every person who happened to get the demo was blown away. Crust war had a chance to meet the members one day and asked if they wanted to release something and now this is the result. 20 tracks of total anarchic rawness and destructive mayhem played in traditional japanese metalcore punk style with a slightly crust and metal punk touch. Fans of GISM,
ZOUO,later GHOUL, EFFIGY, DEMOLITION,TETSU- ARREY,G.A.T.E.S shouldn’t miss this!

SPIROKETE / AXE HELVETE
Desert Earth / Kleptocracy Internalized By the People Split CD
NYC Damaging Crasher Raw punk SPIROKETE meet Hiroshima city Blackened D-Beat Raw Crust AXE HELVETE! This is a CD version from the self released LP that came out during both bands doing their USA Tour in 2024. The eight-song from SPIROKETE featured max-maelstrom D-beat and apocalyptic Rapunk and were boiled alive in sizzling vats of distortion with kind of primitive crashing noise that would instantly appeal to CONFUSE, DISCLOSE or GLOOMS fans. While AXE HELVETE delivers evil and ferocity of blackened sounds such as early BATHORY meet DISCHARGE, powerful d-beat drumming together with evil vocals roaring from the depths of hell!. Both bands will start their Japan tour at the end of April/May 2025.

TERMINAL FILTH
Traces Towards Oblivion
Germany Stenchcore/ Metal crust is back with a new mini album consisting of gloomy and heavy dark with sounds to the late UK 80's band like Hellbastard, Deviated Instinct, Antisect, Axegrinder and almighty Amebix. The songs are longer, heavier and gloomier than the ones on the previous release but they don’t lose their violence, power and speed. Elements of black metal pop up between the heavier classic stenchy parts and the faster crustcore ones. Listening to these new songs makes me think these guys are definitely sitting on the throne of Olympus of crust! What a hell of a fucking release! Next to INSTINCT OF SURVIVAL, STORMCROW, FATUM, HELLSHOCK and EFFIGY, this is recommended!.
TERMINAL FILTH / AXEFEAR
Split
New Crust split out in 2026 between TERMINAL FILTH and AXEFEAR. Both bands deliver granite-solid, heavy stenchcore, and sounds from the 80's till the modern Crust. TERMINAL FILTH comes with four tracks grinding crust with Janick from AFTER THE BOMBS / PARASITES as a special guest vocals on one of the tracks, while AXEFEAR return with three songs with cover from REPULSION. The two bands compete to see who is more destructive, and the result is total annihilation with seven tracks puring stench-crust from start till the end!. ANTISECT! HELLBASTARD! SACRILEGE! AXEGRINDER! AMEBIX!
You know when you see two people getting into a relationship together and you just think that they fit perfectly together and it makes sense that they end up sharing the same bed? Well, TERMINAL FILTH and AXEFEAR are exactly like that: their union was meant to happen, and they may not share the same bed but they share the same crust. With both their names heavily (and rather unsubtly, it has to be said) nodding to the stenchcore of yore, they are the perfect crust tag-team. If you are not familiar with the bands, TERMINAL FILTH is from Berlin, this split LP is their third record, and they have consistently improved since their inception. The four songs they offer (one of which is a delightful synth interlude that brings to mind the mighty AXEGRINDER) are incredible and cement them as one of the best current bands in the stenchcore division. Heavy, dark, anguished, rotten, metallic crust not unlike CANCER SPREADING or LAST LEGION ALIVE. As a bonus, Janick from AFTER THE BOMBS takes care of the vocals on “The Last Journey”—this is the icing on the cake, and a time machine to 2006. On the other side, you will find three songs (one of them being a REPULSION cover) from Seattle’s AXEFEAR, and although TERMINAL FILTH is a tough act to follow, they deliver their own brand of stenchcore well, reminding me of HELLSHOCK or SANCTUM with the required intensity and a great, filthy sound to convince the punters to grab this album that is bound to become something of a crust classic and a high point of the ’20s for this peculiar subgenre. It is a definite win. ( MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL # 517 JUNE 2026)

THE BOLLOCKS
Here's the Live 95
Malaysian punk band THE BOLLOCKS, here's the live 1995 at Piccadilly Discotheque, one of the most familiar places for underground shows during the 90's. This CD contains 8 tracks recorded live on 3rd December 1995 plus 1 bonus live 1996.
THE GEROS
Weird Dance + Demo 2014 Remastered
The Geros is a 70's / K.B.D. style punk rock band from Osaka, Japan. Continuing their streak of concocting peculiar tunes with no regard for the current musical climate, Osaka trio the GEROS flex and expand their pure punk energy on this first 12″ effort. Released on the Tokyo-based Debauch Mood label, Weird Dance offers a twisted and eclectic bouquet of songs both sharp and satisfying. A powerful and unexpectedly spooky opening number, “Pressure” sees the group’s trademark spunky charm bent into a heavy, creeping, and hollow lament. This hypnotizing and sophisticated track provides us with a jaw-dropping standout right off the bat. And I’m not mad at all that they follow it up with a repeat in “Toxic,” an encore presentation of a great track from their 2015 debut Gen*cide or Suicide EP on the band’s own Killer Boy label. The evolved GEROS delivers the explosive bratty chugger with a little more swagger and speed this time around. Kicking off the flipside, “Be Bop A Noiz” brings us both the silliest name and toughest riff of the year in its refrain, adding a new entry to the list of the band’s best songs. The jazzy jump of the instrumental interlude “Ikue” ends with some spoken word, the only words of which I can decipher are “punk rock” and its title, which I believe is in reference to Japanese composer and musician Ikue Mori. Finally, the electric R&B-flavored title track “Weird Dance” wraps things up by setting conflicted and violent lyrical content to a snappy beat to get the kids moving and grooving, as well as leaving initiated “Flat Tire Punk” weirdos like myself drooling for more. A few years back I was semi-obsessed with the idea of going to Japan solely for the purpose of seeing these guys, the RAYDIOS, X-DISCOS, XL FITS, and other incredible bands live. The compulsion has long since left, but when the mailman brings me records like this I can start to feel that itch again.
THE RUSTLER
1988-1994
A CD version from previous LP released by FOAD Records with different artwork. Ultrafast, raging, powerful – three words to describe the overall feeling that we get approaching to any of the legendary names spawned by the Shizuoka HC scene. And with no doubt, The RUSTLER were one of the best representatives from there. Here you get their complete discography 1988-1994 consisting of their debut flexi disc, split 7″s with So What and Swindle Bitch, songs from “Shizuoka City Hardcore” and “Who’s chained up to the dogs of outrage!!” compilations and additional rare tracks never released on vinyl until now. 34 songs of uncompromised anger and speed, featuring Akiyama on drums (also in SWINDLE BITCH, ZAMZA, FORWARD and many more). This anthology shows the band’s progression from the early proto-blasting thrash assault of their s/t 10 song flexi disc, not far from the style of Deadless Muss (in their second phase) and early S.O.B.
TOBS N KRONI
Years of Dysfunction
Such a fun power pop/pop punk album. It runs the gamut of the rougher side of punk but also packs some great melodies in here. It's not a really an album, but more like a clumsy compilation of songs that the band just wants to put out. But you know, I can respect that. Still can't help but wonder the kind of thing they could pull off if they invested more time in the concept or the sequencing. Right now The covers of Beach Boys and Weezer on this thing aren't all that great, but you've got really memorable originals like Back To You (Tun MMM) (no prizes for which Malaysian Prime Minister it's about), You & Blue and Kita Jaga Kita. I think there was an intention to make the song arrangements more purposeful, like a proper concept LP, especially because the final track DYSFUNCTIONAL YEARS is such a good closer. Just a nostalgic acoustic summary for a band with potential.
TOBS AND KRONI
Band life is rubbish
They are back guys.
This time is more solid and stable. Arrangement is more intense. Part-part attack is fresher and unpredictable but the best. Many interesting odd times in the arrangement of the song, arranged well and not disturbing the flow and mood of the song. Part 4/4 of the square formula is also successfully reduced.
It's more crazy, the vocals are easy to hook, the bass line is picked correctly, especially the snapping part, flowers and extensions are all delicious. Guitar works more open, downstroke is good and does not freeze. The drum stroke is neat, sharp and solid. Fortunately, Min did not fill the single stroke of the song Teguh.
This overall must be heard and spread
I don't even care about the genre or any shit. As long as it is delicious, intense and cunning.. Kite kasi on.
Favorite track: I hate my hair.
Congrats Tobs N Kroni Shahrizal Jasmi Namosaki. (Review by Tiong - Tott / Reconstruct)
TOLIVE
~Live~
This band from Kyushu Island was already included on the Downright Vulgarities compilation (also released on Black Konflik Records) that I reviewed a couple of months ago, and unsurprisingly, the band delivers seven new tracks of the traditional ’80s Japanese sound. To be honest, if you told me that TOLIVE used to be active between 1984 and 1987 and that this was a reissue, I would definitely believe you, especially if you caught me at my most gullible. The singer sounds exactly like your typical ’80s Japanese hardcore singer (think GUDON or GISM, obviously), and this confers a delicious vintage feel to the recording, which I suppose is what the band goes for. Musically, this is classically executed Japanese hardcore with those triumphant riffs and characteristic high-energy backing choruses that you can shout along to with clenched fists. The production is quite raw and simple so that it almost has a stripped-down feel, which may not be intentional. In any case, I think TOLIVE would have benefited from a more energetic and refined sound. The cover looks absolutely beautiful, though. I am not the biggest fan of this brand of traditional mid/late ’80s Japanese hardcore, but I am convinced this would appeal to the nerds who are.

WAGESLAVE
Human Terror
The hardcore punk band from Fukushima, which includes STRANGE FACTORY members, has released a limited edition of 400 CDs on Malaysian Black Konflik Records.
It's an old school style similar to Tribal War Asia's Crust Night compilation album, which incorporates Japanese lyrics and catchy choruses into a deep metallic crusty sound. The songs are low noisy but have a slightly emotional atmosphere, and although they are not performed by female vocalists, they have a Japanese crust feel to them that was inspired by 90's Euro crust, such as Sapporo PROTESS.

暴力装置 - "CORRUPTION OF THE LAWLESS VIOLENCE"
MILITARY SHADOW guitarist Tetsuya has released a 5-track 1st demo of a hardcore punk band violent device that also serves as a guitar and vocalist, and a CD version with a 400-sheet press from Malaysia Black Konflik Records. Many people may have missed the cassette version released earlier by the band's own production, so this is a nice timing CD. If you missed the cassette, please buy it this time, and if you like the cassette, please buy it! !! Whether it's a band of quality that holds expectations for the future, or vice versa, a band that looks like garbage that can't be helped, Mr. Tetsuya thoroughly checks the current overseas metal punk that goes through the same era with his own ears. From there, for example, like NAGASAKI SUNRISE in Portugal, I always think that I'm always sick of approaching a band that I thought "this is it !!", but this violent device is metal punk. There is no taste and I push it with a brutal Swedish hardcore style only that makes me feel a strong influence from ANTI CIMEX. Mr. Tetsuya also loves ABSOLUT in Canada, so there is also a metal punk element somewhere, is it that type? I thought before I heard that, but I strongly feel his challenge spirit even when I am consciously avoiding it. I think it's a masterpiece debut demo that seems to have struck out his feelings. A must-listen for MILITARY SHADOW fans, BAFOMET fans, BRANDED REBEL fans, and punk fans looking for ferocious crust hardcore! !! (Record boy shop).
