ABRASION nation in the year 2009. Originally formed as a project of only 2 integrators, where all their enthusiasm was put into making an alloyed and fast -paced music. A Powerviolence duo that will be inspired by style legends like SPAZZ and DROPDEAD. Her lyrics are very conscious and protesting, and her music is fabulous and entertaining. With very good sound quality Abrasion surprises with its brutality and good rhythm in which the themes are not made monotonously or abrupt. Perfect for lovers of modern Powerviolence.

ACUTE - For Peace 1986-1992 CD. (Black konflik records) //RM20//
Following SHOT GUN, FUP, and ZHENYUAN, Black Konflik Records in Malaysia has released another Hokkaido hardcore punk obscure excavation reissue! !! The only work left during the activity was a hardcore punk band from Sapporo called "Nothing Action, Nothing Have", which was produced in 1989 by SLANG, SATANIC HELL SLAUGHTER, FUP and this ACUTE 4 band. This is a discography CD. The 4 Way Split sound source and all 23 songs of studio rehearsal & live are included. Comes with a band and a sticker. I didn't know it at all until I heard the release information of this CD, so the liner notes in the booklet and the flyer at that time are very helpful, but the anti-war that did not exist much in the Showa local city hardcore punk It is a political band that has been seriously appealing, and members / musicians of important bands in the Sapporo punk scene such as SLANG, Dohatsuten, EASTERN YOUTH, SPITFIRE, SATANIC HELL SLAUGHTER (& 324), BLOODTHIRSTY BUTCHERS have also participated with support. That's right, it can be seen that it was a political punk group that was not based on the principle or image-first type, but was also active in the musical model of overseas punk. In fact, the intro of ANTI-SYSTEM is used for SE (there is also a song that seems to be a Japanese cover), and as a Japanese hardcore punk at that time, it is a rare type that does not have a so-called Japanese core feeling. This is kängpunk at its finest: Affect come from Varmland County, Sweden featuring member of E.A.T.E.R, Våldsamt motstånd, Fördärvad, A.R.S.E.L and Destruktiv. Total 14 tracks mini discography with Disclose worship in a total distort brutal Hardcore mangel. 
Well, you got that right, AFFECT. I first played this tape well into the evening, after a few park sodas, and said to myself “maybe I’ll listen to this again over the weekend, and it won’t sound so much like DISCLOSE.” AFFECT are a Swedish band, and if you love DISCLOSE and GLORIOUS?, this is a perfect addition to your Dis-collection. Dis is absolut raw chaos punk noize for reality fucker. And the best part: it’s done by two people, yet sounding like a catastrophic cacophony of several more. The percussion is a bit heavier than is standard, as is the galloping stomper track—my favorite—”Bleeding.” The words are lengthy and well-paced, nicely understated, throughout the tracks, and my only complaint is that I’d love to have some printed lyrics. The tan-on-black cover art is also excellent. AFFECT goes from “eh” to “hmm, well, OK!” with each subsequent listen. - Maximum RocknRoll #448 , September 2020.

ANDROPHAGOUS / TOXIC REVOLUTION - Exterminate (FDA Rekodz) //RM10//
There is no reason to worry: the heart of the local grindcore scene is beating, the bastion of scary music is standing and resisting. ANDROPHAGOUS and TOXIC REVOLUTION come from the KEITZER environment and are on a confrontational course with their joint release, crushing everything that thinks they have to stand in their way. Two bands, two beastly bolts, 32 sharpened injection projectiles, fired in just under 38 minutes, the longest piece lasts 164, the shortest 34 seconds. To make it short: Here you primarily feel with your ass. On this split release REPULSION, early TERRORIZER, ASSÜCK, also INFEST, HERESY and CRUCIFIX culminate, as well as newer ones like INSECT WARFARE - the agenda could be extended to countless other pioneering exponents - in an old-fashioned, but by no means obsolete way talk about "old hat", of course. Whether ANDROPHAGOUS or TOXIC REVOLUTION, the sound of both bands offers a lot of identification potential. In order to describe him, one cannot avoid the references mentioned above. On the other hand, it's good that they don't let themselves be deterred from using the gigantic vocabulary that the countless grindcore releases of the last few decades have at their disposal. They add everything they can to make their music more divisive, more brutal, more angry and generally more uncomfortable. Hyper-fast blasts, morbid and scalpel-sharp guitar riffs, overlaid by nasty screams and grunts. Always brute, always in a skilful balance of bulkiness and tonal apocalypse. The fear of doing something that was already done, that bands have done long before them, is misplaced. Because it works in this genre again and again, plain and simple, here everything is brought together to form the most valuable asset and you can't get enough of it. ANGKARA - Dogma (Broken Noise Records / Green Peace Distro / Disc346 Records / Zuath Generation Distro) (RM10)
In the first album titled "Dogma" which was released as a result of the collaboration of 4 labels, all that has been overcome very well, in fact the improvement is clearly bigger and massive. The original Hardcore / Crust Punk d-beat unit from Kulim, Kedah is back in style and "Dogma" is really powerful and full of energy. The CD features 10 songs as well as the addition of an intro making the total duration 22:11 minutes. The recording sessions as well as the mixing and mastering process were done at Warehouz Studio from April 2015 to January 2016. Their music, their lyrics, their singing-all merged like an expression of anger that erupted and overflowed. Listening to the series of songs in this album, you can feel the fierce and violent expressions and cries of Angkara, along with the aggressive nature of the rhythmic nature of hardcore punk music that they perform. Angkara in this album is lined up by Matt Rizal (vocals/ guitar), Aziman Azmi (drums/ background vocals) and the inclusion of Pahrol Razi (bass/background vocals) who was not previously involved in Demo 2014. "Dogma" comes in an interesting package , a 7 "x 7" slipcase (like a 7 "EP vinyl cover). ANGKARA has already proven their potential and without a doubt“ Dogma ”is a fully recommended must-have. ANGST - Bloodbath, Practice & Live 1986 CD. (Black Konflik Records) (RM20)
Now on sale! Includes rehearsals and live performances of the UK crossover metalcore punk slash band ANGST, which was performed by three members of DEVIATED INSTINCT Mid, Snapa, Sean and four unspecified guitarists Alex for a very short time in 1986. A CD containing all 18 songs. Doom guitarist Bri is in charge of mastering. It's a band that was wrapped in a mystery, or it's the ultimate brewery excavation release that probably didn't exist in Japan, but the sample video that I sent a link with the information. Listen to ... Hmm ... Is this a practice tape that doesn't need to be physically released? To be honest, I didn't expect it until I actually listened to it on a CD. However, when I listened to it properly, this was completely interesting in the UK crossover thrash royal road style at that time. Mid doesn't play the guitar and concentrates on vocals, so to be clear, it's not something you can expect and enjoy with DEVIATED INSTINCT connections. However, the royal road style that UKHC punks challenged thrash metal is like a small SACRILEGE, and it is the same kind of guy as LEGION OF PARASITES, ALTERNATIVE ATTACK, DESECRATORS, ANIHILATED. Also, the live sound source in the second half is better than the rehearsal sound source in the first half! !! CORVUS - Left it too late CD (Black Konflik Records) (RM15)
From Malaysia BLACK KONFLIK, the 2007 recording of CORVUS, a doom metal project by Pete Nash (ANTI GOTHIC LEAGUE, ENT, Filthkick, DOOM etc) and Bri DOOM (DOOM, SORE THROAT etc), is on CD for the first time! It is a paper sleeve specification that is rare in BLACK KONFLIK. The song was produced by Pete Nash, and Bri DOOM was in charge of the drum part and recording. It seems that he was thinking about activities as a band if there was a good reaction to make a demo, but since Pete lives in a remote place, he could not find friends to play with around him, and eventually he settled down in this form. That thing. And so far, it seems that more than 8 demos have been quietly produced. A song inspired by ELECTRIC WIZARD and produced by picking up a guitar for the first time in more than 10 years. CROSSING OCEANS ; A Transcontinental Hard Core Punk Madness!! (Youth Crime Recordings / Unified Resistance Records / Hit and Burn Records / DIS346 Records / Gravest Records) (RM10)
This 4-way split is complemented by DEATH BY FUNGI (Bombay, India), SHARON STONED (Gombak, Malaysia), LAST DITCH EFFORT (Southern California, USA) and WARTHOLE (Surakarta, Indonesia). Basically this product is the latest release from Sharon Stoned’s hardcore brigade camp but to be honest I was a little upset because 2 of the songs from them in this CD are songs I’ve heard before and are in their previous releases. Even so, I believe the selection of the song is the best selection representing Sharon Stoned’s maturity today. ‘Ait The Bait’ (which was once aired through the Continuous Resistance compilation) showcases Sharon Stoned’s latest ability to compose fast-paced, thick and rocky hardcore music while ‘WTF Happened To You?’ proving their creativity hardcore the original song The Offspring. Hopefully, in the next releases SHARON STONED comes up with new recording songs. This split "Crossing Oceans" opens with two songs from DEATH BY FUNGI. Their music is fierce. Solid and loaded hardcore with strong metallic beats and embroidered with colorful melodic pieces. Among the musical formation influences of DEATH BY FUNGI are such as PROPAGHANDI, BLACK FLAG, DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN and SLAYER. The third band, LAST DITCH EFFORT which was formed around 2003 also contributed two songs in the nuances of Hardcore Punk that are delicious and uplifting with lyrics themed on political matters. The melodic part is beautiful and quite pleasant to listen to. WARTHOLE who acts as the cover band of this 4-way split presents 3 songs where the last song is far different in nature and is considered a bonus for this CD. The first two songs of them are Hardcore rhythms that sound so solid and heavy, applied grind elements to taste. Most interestingly, the 3rd track entitled ‘Demi Nestapa Yang Bermekaran’ in my opinion is a drone / ambient noise sound track for 7:45 minutes. This bonus track seems to be my favorite and is often repeated, its impact is ruffled feathers. On the whole, this 19:32 minute overall CD split product is a really good effort. Sharon Stoned spread her name all over the world while foreign names in the hardcore/punk scene from various parts of the continent were introduced to the listeners here. Artwork by Kecoa Jahat (from Indonesia) is also so charming and the 12-page booklet is neatly and interestingly refined. I suggest you get this release soon. Listen to :

DEATH TO ALL POLITICIAN or you guys can call it DxTxAxP is a new 2-piece noisecore band from S.A City, Malaysia; consists of Bastard Son (drum/vox) and Drunkard (guitar/vox). This is still fresh, Old School Noisecore like SEVEN MINUTES OF NAUSEA (7MON), ARSEDESTROYER, DECHE-CHARGE, YES MEANS YES, PISSDEADS, DEATHWANT and other short, fast & noisy noisecore bands! Remember, do not trust the politician, and hate the politics! 
PISSDEADS is a one-man band from Russia who's been grinding out his own brand of sloppy noisecore/grind for a good few years now. This side is sloppy blurr/grind with ultra-harsh distorted vocals and vicious high-end from the drums. DEATHWANT are a side-project of superb grinders SUFFERINFUCK and this is their first appearance on vinyl after a raft of tapes on various labels. Very, very harsh sound going on here: the recording is pushed so far into the red instruments are barely discernable and the screaming vocals cut right through everything. There are some fuckin great riffs going on here though, and this definitely skirts with a more traditional grind sound more often than the ultra-short blasts of many other bands of the genre. Brilliant stuff! My only complaint is there's no songs titles, cos they're usually class! Listen at :

DECOMP - Condemned to Earth CD. (Black Konflik Records) (RM20)
Debut full length from the long standing PDX unit, DECOMP. Bitter, Angry and Aggressive in every sense. Following a couple ep’s and a few line up changes, this LP gives you a vulgar display of tightness and brutality performed by a band in their prime. Condemned to Earth finds them crossing that line into metal even further than before (complete with sick guitar leads) but still a chalk load of stench here to keep the crusties drunkenly bobbing their heads. There are plenty of nods to the usual suspects (ie SACRILEGE, BOLT THROWER, et al) with hardcore punk hooks bringing to mind FRAMTID, ENT and the like. The result is an uncomfortable soundscape of chugging riffs, breakdowns, plenty of tempo changes, with a thick layer of guttural, spiteful vocals. There are only so many times you can get away with using the word “brutal” to describe certain records, but this one is BRUTAL in every sense of the word. End of times crust for the filthy black waxed jacket punks and flowing locked heshers alike. Listen at :

The 2nd album released by MIND CONTROL operated by Jack Control in 1999 by DEFIANCE, which is likely to release a full album in 2022, will be reissued on CD from BLACK KONFLIK in 2022. It also has an obi like BKR. At this time, the base shifted from Kelly to Matt, who is also active in DOG SOLDIER. DEPRESS - Discography 3inch CD. (Broken noise records) (RM15)
I couldn’t find much information on this band, either in English or Spanish. I know they’re a ’90s band from Malaysia and this is their entire output remastered for our enjoyment, all released originally by Broken Noise Records. The first half is songs from a split with Indonesia’s ANTIPATHY, and the second half were part of the Johor Hardcore comp. The twelve tracks are a blast, unhinged and blistering hardcore with some cool melodic and street-punk-like vocal hooks. Great song arrangements, furious vocals when needed, and a clear socio-political stance against authoritarianism and war. Would love to hear more from DEPRESS, hope there’s some more tracks in some vaults out there. (Maximum rock and roll). Listen at :

DESTRUCTION - Discography 1998-2011 CD. (Black konflik records) (RM20)
Discography of a super important band from Ibaraki that has been active since the late 90s, including current Ataraxia member Asao and Unarm member Kyabe! The CD version of the tape released in 2016 has been released by BLACK KONFLIK! This discography, which includes songs from the split with Plutonium, the 2009 pro copy, and several other compilations, perfectly captures the enthusiasm of the North Kanto hardcore, anarcho punk / crust scene that has continued from that time to the present, and I can say with confidence, having experienced Destruction's gigs many times at the time! Musically, as Acclaim Collective and others have mentioned, there are influences from bands like the origin of the "emo crust" that was at its peak at the time, and His Hero is Gone / Tragedy, but there are also elements reminiscent of the classic anarcho punk of Sedition, Scatha, Dissafect, and the raging Celtic Thrash and Dirt. Rather than the riffs being similar, it's more of an atmospheric similarity, with a slightly different darkness from that of the so-called UK Late 80's, as seen in European bands such as Filth of Mankind and Mind Pollution, and US bands such as Nausea and Antischism, and a wonderful fusion of Japanese hardcore passion with hot sing-alongs, which at first glance seem to be the opposite, and a variety of songs are colored. There are also glittering and sharp single-note guitar phrases scattered throughout that will make fans of so-called anarcho-punk roar, and you can once again see how diverse the Kanto "crust" scene was at the time. Considering how the excitement of that time has developed into the current scene in northern Kanto, Unarm, Ataraxia, etc., you can see how this discography is a must-have... When the Swedish D-Beat met the Japanese D-Beat Raw punk here the split came out! DSM-5 / 暴力装置 - The Future Means Murder split proper D-beat delivered like it used to be as influenced by almighty DISCHARGE and DISCLOSE. DSM-5 recently just released an album from Cimex Records owned by Charlie (Anti Cimex) while 暴力装置 put out CDEP last year 2022. This CD included 12 new recording tracks with cover songs from DISCARD, that showed a blatant display of in-your-face, ugly and menacing hardcore buzzed with distortion. And both just when the constant cannonade of distorted guitars, aggresive vocals and pounding d-beats rawpunk as fuck.

DUCKHEAD – Always Late (Puckish 
Records / Nervous Records) (RM15)
This band of three brothers from Sepang, Selangor is said to have taken some time before being ready to appear more mature and perfect through the EP "Always Late" which was released in mid-January 2018. The CD contains six songs with a total duration of 18:23 minutes; 4 songs in English and 2 Malay songs where one of them is a tribute 'Aduh Sayang', a classic song originally sung by the great artist P.Ramlee. In terms of music, Duckhead presents Punk Rock that is so entertaining, good to listen to and of course rock your body. They put together catchy and lively riffs and 'relaxed' parts well to create an interesting flow in each song. It is also rich in beautiful melodic compositions, strengthened by the impact and solid impact of the drum beat. Duckhead consisting of Idris Rabi (drums), Talhah Rabi (guitar/vocals) and Zaid Rabi (bass/vocals) get faster, louder and quite hard in the last two songs in this EP. Get the "Always Late" EP, it's worth it if you want good local Punk Rock that's solid in terms of music quality and sound production.

We`re a 5-piece band coming from the rather north area of Germoney (meaning Bremen and Osnabrück) and we play a rough mix of d-beat and anarcho-punk, both very political and very beer-drenched.
We started in 2000 and after several line-up changes the present members are Gringo and Kasi on guitars, OB on bass, Porky on drums and Pappe doing the shouts.

Formed in 2010 by members of ex-Destruction, Patronage, and current Last Right Brigade, Ibaraki D-beat Ataraxia showed off their ripped impact in 2018 at the Mito leg of the Japan tour with Instinct of Survival and ATF. The cassette version of the full-length CD released last spring by Bakuon Rensou is now available! Brutal and heavy D-beat Crusty HC has something in common with Wolfpack, early Wolfbrigade, and Skitsystem from the 2000s onwards, and their performance, which is moderately fast but never too hasty, is full of raging momentum that resonates with current Swedish bands such as Crutches, WARVICTIMS, and MARTYRDÖD, who have also visited Japan. The sharp lead guitar that is occasionally inserted between the developments that are conscious of stop & go makes you feel an excessive love for Discharge, and the crisp backing gives a glimpse of the commonality with not only Scandi and Mangel but also Swedish death metal, and the musicality that goes beyond the so-called D-beat Raw Punk and current Scandi style is clearly evident in their previous works. Hiromu-kun's D-beat, who is also an ex-patronage, has a unique groove, and when you listen to it for a long time at a live performance, you can somehow feel a strange euphoria! (Seriously lol) And although it may seem like a very different musicality at first glance, I feel a certain kind of hot passion in Ataraxia that I felt in Destruction at the time. As COVID-19 raged around the world and many bands were forced to suspend their activities, they holed themselves up in the studio and began working on their first full-length album. Newest album from Cikarang D-Beat Crustpunk unit, containing 10 tracks + 1 track covering from WOLFBRIGADE. These punks are straightforward, political and tight as hell. They aren’t exactly groundbreaking here, but who says you need to when you have such bands as TOTALITÄR, MOB-47, and ANTI CIMEX for an influence?


BLIND CONFUSED - Non compos mentis. (Warmaster production / Evylin records / cassette addict recs) (RM15)
This is band has existed around 1994. They are the first generation extreme metal band that exists in the state of Sabah. The band from Lahad Datu brings death/grind music. Before the "non compos mentis" demo was released in, they had released material such as "burn" (rehearsal demo 1994 "and also rehearsal 2005. The" non compos mentis "demo was released around 2007 which contained 8 songs and 1 cover song from the band Rolling Stone "Pain in Black"… the song is really terrible because the rhythm of the music is so grind… hehehehe. It's normal for grindcore bands to sing all the short duration. BRUTAL TRUTH.

First of all, "DARGE" from Japan will be released on January 23, 2011 at NUCLEAR DEATH TERROR Japan Tour in Nagoya. Participated in 3 live recordings at Hackfin. Rough low live sound source that conveys the atmosphere, momentum, sound of the band at that time with a live feeling!! Primitive low crust "KORRUPT" from Indonesia! Rough Low Primitive Crust!! It seems to be a studio recording but it has a cheap feel with a one-shot atmosphere! 3 songs recorded! "HORROR HUMANO" with a metallic crust atmosphere from Argentina! It's called a cassette. Their songs often deal with themes of anti-authoritarianism, human rights, war and injustice reflecting the struggles faced by marginalized communities. NUCLEAR NOISE formed at the eastern end of Cirebon which was initially filled with 3 noise addict personnel. NuclearVoice was their first name, they felt it didn't fit so they changed their name to "NuclearNoise". They have released 2 full albums in cassette tape format. Their first album is titled "DAMAGING CRUST MASSACRE" with a lyrical theme of the horror of war in the past and in the future. And not long ago they just released 2 new singles called "realita & isi perut" and "end the war"...

This recent release from Swedish outfit KASSHUVE proves that all you need to make great music is pure aggression. In an age of ever-constant overproduced and glamorous pop songs, this EP stands out as an anomaly of fucked up noise. The vocals are delivered in a constant guttural scream. Piercingly overdriven guitars, thick bass, and pummeling drums. Its lo-fi recording aesthetic adds to the overall noisiness and fuzz. The EP is rough and raw around the edges in all the best ways. The European pressing of this bombastic debut by Sweden’s LARMA (cheaper than the indentical Beach Impediment version). A manic rush of Kang punk from ex members of SKITKIDS, HERÄTYS, ARSLE and INFERNÖH (and loads more over the past couple decades), and with those bands in mind, this is 11 tracks of exactly what you would expect : blistering Swedish Hardcore Punk Mangel. With the added thrill of a distinct old-school 80’s influence. I’m thinking specifically BGK and Gang Green/ Jerry’s Kids. 


LITTLE PUPPY PRINCESS - Anti scum human (Sukma record) //RM10//
I'm pretty worried about people is South Korea, it seems that they have caught a strong and powerful Grind virus. For just few years their local Grind underground has grown up. And I’m really happy with that, because now we have more great Grind bands in our small family. So today we will speak about the latest release of Little Puppy Princess. This mad trio started only a few short years ago, but a few months ago they visited Australia on tour (and that was impressive). Our friends made some positive changes… They’ve grown up and they’re mutilating the dead with some wicked old school Grindcore. This has heavy effect on their sound and riffs (we will talk about that a little bit later) and that also has effects on their art. Just look at this collage! Okay I can can agree with the fact that is not unique, but this one looks badass! This one was made in 100% Grindcore fashion. So “Anti Scum Human” is receptacle for being 10 very fast, dirty, short and good songs. As I said before, the sound has changed, now it’s more clear, maybe even heavier… Song structures have become more rigid and direct. The guys are trying their best, they shoot you in a barrage song by song. They don’t want to give you time to breathe or time to open your beer. And I must admit that they sound even more aggressive now than ever. I like how this guitar sounds, it’s still a little bit messy but now its full of buzzing energy. The same can be said about the drums, now these beats sounds more confident and more powerful. So in the end I can only add that I’m really happy to see and hear these positive changes in this band. They been in STILL ONE, STILL PROUD compilation with the such likes THE IDIOTS, INA SUBS, DEAD GERM, TOTAL DESTROY, SEPTICTANK, ERROR CREW, OUT OF CONTROL, KREMLIN, OVERCAST, SEXY PIGS, DISLIKE and CRYPTICAL DEATH. This compilation also became the forerunner to the establishment of Movement Records, where the compilation, became the first release for the record label based in South Jakarta. As MIDHUMANS engraved in the history of Jakarta punk, there's not much information could be gathered about the band. They could be included into the 2nd generation punk band (school of UK82 hardcore punk) from the mid of 90's (an era where political-conscious/crust punk starting making wave) through the Reformasi period and into the turn of the century. This release contains 10 tracks taken from their live recording back in 1999 and live performance recordings in 2016.

Four songs with Gothenburg band MYTERI which was formed early 2013 boys are bearded and does not look like a crust band "should" do but what does it do when they sound like one. It is aggressive, fast, and there are some songs in particular "essence" so all the ingredients that should be included in their dish. I see the MYTERI as a band for the future and if they can only modify their songs a little and get a sound that is a little clearer or rather bring out the vocals a bit more, I would be really happy. Now I'm happy with the anger and tempo ... I want some other sound but the group is not so old and have not quite found their sound. But good is it.. MYTERI’s 4 tracks album is a sprawling and unforgiving opera of darkened heavy punk that draws much influence from legendary crust bands like AMEBIX, ANTISECT, and from head-on collision-like d-beat bands like WOLFPACK, DOOM and DISFEAR. In any case, this is a prime example of amazing melodic heavy crust - if you like TRAGEDY, this shit will clamp on to your soul and not let you go ever again. Ten songs of misery and despair - d-beat and booze throughout this raw mayhem.

NUCLEAR POWER GENOCIDE - devastation of the future (Bullwhip Records) //RM10//
NUCLEAR POWER GENOCIDE is a new band formed by members of PARANOID and ABSOLUT. Both bands need no introduction since they are/were around long time ago and offered us some great raw tunes. Back in 2015 they released Jawbreaking Mangel Devastation split (2x7" and 12") and toured together in 2016, now they join forces, two members of the now defunct ABSOLUT (Chris on vocal duties and Joel on guitar) and two from PARANOID (Jocke on bass and Emil on drums) formed NUCLEAR POWER GENOCIDE and recorded four tracks for an upcoming 7" titled Devastation of the Future. The recording took much time (between July 2017 & April 2018), mixed by Nayr Tunndra & Joel from ABSOLUT, mastered by Kenko at Communichaos Media Clay Station and sleeve artwork was created by Jacky Crustwar. Wow! and yes its a little monster of kängpunk, this is exactly what these bands could produce together, a raw punk attack at its finest, brutal, fast and relentless and crashing everything that stands on its way. ÖTZI is a dark post-punk band from Oakland, CA, comprised of singer & bassist Akiko Sampson, singer & drummer Gina Marie, guitarist K. Dylan Edrich, and keyboardist Winter Zora. ÖTZI is known for their intricate songwriting and their explosive live show. At times haunting and at times aggressive, ÖTZI delivers a driving rhythm,double intertwining vocal melodies and abstract guitar washes.

First full length of this Cheltenham, England based band made out of scene veterans known from PROPHECY OF DOOM, ALEHAMMER, SUICIDE WATCH. In Montreal, Canada, Luke is active in groups such as PARASYTES, ZYMOTIC, SNARA, CONQUEST, and WARKRUSHER, and also in Australia's BLOKADE. Before COVID-19, he came to Japan alone and showed off his strong drunken punk side with Abe from LIFE! !
I think the last group he was in Canada was WARKRUSHER, and then he went to the US without me knowing, but then the COVID-19 pandemic hit and he couldn't return to Canada and stayed there... That's how I continued to interact with him, but I heard that he recently formed a band in Philadelphia, where he is currently staying! That group is PSYCH-WAR, a five-piece twin guitar band with Luke as the guitarist! ! And here is the first demo cassette of 2023 from SORE MIND by PSYCH-WAR, who have been touring energetically and are now in full swing! I listed the groups that LUKE has been in before, but as you all know, even though he's such a drunk and useless guy, all the bands he's been in are cool (but they always quit or break up soon after, sob), which is strange about LUKE, and this PSYCH-WAR is also pretty cool! Total 5 tracks with a metallic & crashing Scandinavian Jawbreaking HC sound that definitely exudes the scent of ANTI-CIMEX from the early and mid-period of UK's SACRILEGE, and also has some influence from Japan's EXECUTE and DEATH SIDE ~ BASTARD!! Hope you keep up this momentum and release an album this time, LUKE! Also, please make a record of the ZYMOTIC demo someday!! (Revenge Records)

A few days ago i was thinking about posting this but i was too tired so i canceled it for sometime later, then next morning i a comment made by Bergman, the drummer of ABNORM, came in, well that's perfect timing. ABNORM hail from Boras, Sweden, they formed in winter 1999 but they recorded tracks for first time in 2005, you can see a detailed biography here, their discography is: "Multinationella Horor" (2006), "Ert Jävla System Kan Fan Brinna I Helvetet Era Satans As"(2006), Enough (2007) plus a split 7" w Rajoitus (2006) and a 3-way split w RAJOITUS and ZUDAS KRUST from Indonesia They also contributed tracks in several compilations. Abnorm offer for free their recorded material in their website, its good enough to give it a try, on the other hand RAJOITUS offer for free their releases in Last.fm. ("Historia Kusessa" [7",1996], "Nyt On Kuolema Täällä" [7,1998]"Systeemiin Naulittu" [7,2000], Discography cd,2003 and "Hat Mörker Amfetamin" [2005,lp-cd. Indonesia US OLD SCHOOL. The same drummer as THE IDIOTS. The so-called American mid-to-late 80's sound. It's in a cool box jacket. For those who like US OLD SCHOOL! As you can see on the second piece, the song is short, but it's OLD SCHOOL without using blast. 


SUBVERSIVE - Freedom & Equality (Greenpeacedistro) //RM10//
SUBVERSIVE first demo was release in November 98. Entitle "Freedom & Equality" include 6 original songs. Sound mostly like the late 80'HC/Punk with aggressive vocals and raw sound and our influence like TOTAL CHAOS, CHAOS UK, EXTINCT GOVERNMENT etc". SUBVERSIVE, a band from Segamat that was born around the end of the 90s that featured 6 songs in all. Surely this demo brings back memories of the Segamat era bring chaos once upon a time. Maybe this demo is still stored in another collection of cassettes, some have been lost, flooded, kasi makwe borrowed and so on. It is released in very limited quantities. The tapes were released by Tampui Records (MY) and feature 6 tracks driven by the internal forces of grind assault, including a flute appearance by Alind Plea for Peace and blasting drums by Jerry Kid (FINALRUN, MUNTAHDARAH, TRAUMATIC DISORDER). - (Kambai Record store).

Canadian powerhouse WARKRUSHER are back after their insanely great self titled Demo Tape, Pils Sessions #11 Tape and the Epitaph 7". Agipunk will release their debut LP in Europe (American press by Desolate Records) right on time for their European tour. Now, a few words about the music: I honestly think this is the perfect combination between old school stench core a la Axegrinder, Deviated Instinct, early Hellshock and early nineties Bolt Thrower. I've been shocked by the thick granitic power of this new recordings and felt my eardrums under a relentless siege that I had to listen to this damn good record over and over again for the next days. Not to talk about the artwork: simply insane with all those little details and stuff. Repress on tapes by Distort Records.


WARDOGS - Absolute Loud Nights. (Greenpeacedistro) //RM10//
Malaysian first band playing Noisecore Punk ala CONFUSE, GAI, DISORDER and ATROCIOUS MADNESS, LEBENDEN TOTEN, DISCLOSE, SHITLICKERS, BROKEN BONES, BLOOD SPIT NIGHTS etc. 6 tracks previously released by Black Konflik Records in 2009, 2 songs from Sense Of Crisis split plus 2 unreleased songs. History : The band was started in 2004 with 5 piece playing raw punk in the veins of MODERAT LIKVIDATION, KAAOS, THE UNSEEN at the time we use the name 'social security' but not too long after that SS split of some problems and only left 3 of us. Somewhere in 2005 we planning to started a new band playing noisepunk since no much of these kind around and we started doing new shits and keep practicin. After a couple of month we become really active and have been invited for some shows. We use the name 'WARDOGS' which was taken from one line in our unreleased tracks called 'total fucking control.
