Review :
Malaysian RAW HARDCORE PUNK that makes a noise in Spanish! Can I go to Scandinavian lovers? I sprinted while feeling a little sadness. Probably the only solo work. Already participated in VA. Total Fucking Madness Comp. A little faster drumming without D-beat! I recommend it!

According to what is written on the cover of the cassette, the songs in this release were recorded live and mixed at Hotsounds studio around 2012. This cassette was then released in November 2016. From what I understand, "Kangkungcore" is aimed at a compilation of songs which was recorded by Diskangküng including a re-recorded song. The song list is as follows: 1. 28 July 1914 (WW1) / 2. Atomic Bomb / 3. Dunia Huru Hara / 4. Kangkungcore / 5. War Is Misery / 6. Oppressive System / 7. Pig-Headed Minister / 8. War Bastard (re-record). Diskangküng comes from Batu Pahat, Johor and consists of Ait (guitar), Man (vocals), Hafiz (drums) and Shah (bass). Based on my hearing and observation, Diskangküng brings hard, rebellious, loud D-beat / Crust Hardcore Punk music – full of anger, and even hatred! I also think there are elements of dark / blackened hardcore or maybe more precisely the influence of the stenchcore genre in the songs of Diskangküng. The guitar riffs sound fierce behind the strong and heavy nuances of the sound, the bass passages are quite prominent and the twin pedal playing is so good by their drummer. Diskangküng was once involved in a 4-way split CD "Capitalist War Holocaust" (2012) with Exkoriator (Singapore), Angkara (Kedah) and Geen Naam (Kuala Lumpur) where 4 songs from Diskangküng in the split were also included in the cassette-tape " Kangkungcore”. Bad!
